The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as another trip is planned for Summer 2024!
Immerse yourself in stunning scenery, iconic wildlife, and exceptional culture on the 2025 Purpose Trip. Lodging is in beautiful, comfortable, resorts all along the way. Includes Safari's in both Lake Nakuru National Park and Maasai Mara Game Reserve, educational & environmental tours, and a village experience in Nyanchonori, Kenya. Here you will engage with the community to make lasting personal connections with locals, tour the local schools and interact with the enthusiastic children and teachers, learning how education is delivered in a vastly different culture. We will also participate in a meaningful Purpose Project to leave the village of Nyanchonori better than when we found it. We will then return to Nairobi for a tour of the bead factory and dinner then take our flight back to the US.

TRIP REVIEWS
"Going to Kenya with Global Connections Foundation was an incredible adventure. There was a perfect balance of tourism and volunteering. It was magical to be engrossed in the day to day life of the savannah with a driver who was able to educate us in all areas of animal and plant life in the region. There were many opportunities to buy unique souvenirs while helping the local community. We were informed about village traditions and laws and it was enlightening to be welcomed into a society that is drastically different from my own. Volunteering was a time that warmed my heart and produced so much love for a community in need. Every day of my travels through Kenya was spectacular, adding enjoyment, education and love to my life. " Its been a pleasure being here in Kenya with my daughter, taking her out of the country for the very first time..........Its nice to expose her to the people of Kenya, how welcoming they were to us and the appreciation they have for us. Everything about the trip has been fantastic from safari's to seeing the kids in the schools, everyone should do it!"

"The Kenyan Trip was meaningful to me because it opened my eyes to see how people on the other side of the world live and it made me learn to appreciate the things that i have and find happiness in more than just material items because when we were in the villages everyone was just so happy and smiling even though they had much less!"

"The trip was overall a really good experience for me to see, everything is so amazing out here, it's so different than in the US. We went to the village and all the kids were soo happy to see us. We brought them school supplies and they were so appreciative! We also brought school uniforms for the kids who needed them the most."
