SHEN's CYBER CAFE - Computer Services.
We were able to help Sharon & Enock open a Cyber Cafe in the village Feb 2023!
With a $1200 microloan with low interest rate, this couple was able to open a computer services shop to meet the need of hamake copies, get ID's and purchase some basic office supplies.
Boda Boda - Motorcycle Taxi Service
With an $1100 microloan, in April 2023 Duke & Veronicah were able to purchase a motorcycle and manage a taxi service with it. They are able to supplement their income, and when the loan is repaid, they will be self-sufficient and own their own transportation!
Tailors/Seamstresses
Coming Soon! We are revamping a previous program the village had piloted several years ago. Once we raise funds for a microloan to purchase sewing machines, supplies and fabrics, we can expand the program and many more villagers can be trained and employed in this high demand employment field.

THE RISAGA CONNECTIONS CENTER (RCC) in kenya
RISAGA in Kisii means "bringing people together".
The Global Connections Foundation is raising funds to support the construction of a center dedicated to entrepreneurial and educational training. This center aims to offer business training and microloans to motivated individuals, empowering them to generate sustainable income for their families, reducing the dependency on continuous external assistance, and bringing hope and dignity to eager, hardworking villagers. A hand up, not a hand out!

The training center will also have a computer resource center, meeting hall, cafeteria and upstairs lodging areas for groups up to 12.
